BHEL Engineer Trainee vacancy for Mechanical & Elecrical Engineers through GATE 2017



Selection criteria

Interested candidates will be called for interview on the basis of GATE score card. The ratio of vacancy & shortlisted candidates will be 1:3. It means against 50 vacancies total 150 candidates will be shortlisted to attend the interview. The final merit list shall be prepared on the basis of 75% weightage to Written Test (GATE-2017) Score& 25% weightage to Interview Stage.

Salary in Hand or CTC

Successful candidates have to undergo training of one year. During the training period, they will be paid according to IDA Pay scale of 20600-46500/-. After successful training candidates will be appointed as Engineers & their initial basic pay scale will be 24900 in IDA pay band of 24900-50500.

As per BHEL’s official notification, newly appointed Graduate Engineer will get CTC of around 8 Lakhs per annum. Apart from this they also get Leave Encashment, Medical facilities for self and dependent family members, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Performance Related Pay, Uniform, Subsidized Canteen Facilities etc.

Service Agreement Bond

Selected candidates will have to execute a service agreement bond of Rs2,00,000/- to serve the Company (or any Government Department or Undertaking at the discretion of the Company) for a period of three years after successful completion of training. Candidates will also be required to furnish a Surety Bond executed by parents/ guardian/ reliable surety.
