Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprises, has issued the notification to recruit 125 Graduate Engineer through GATE 2017 for the appointment in the post of Management Trainee Technical, Design & Civil.
Eligibility Criteria & Number of Seats
B.E. / B.Tech. or its equivalent (Full Time 4 years after 10 +2) degree holders from the recognized university or institutes, are eligible to apply for Management Trainee Post in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. The post name, number of posts and eligible branches are shown in the following screenshot.
Candidates possessing B.E./ B.Tech Degree in any other equivalent branch/stream, other than those mentioned above, are not eligible to apply for the executive job in HAL.
Minimum age limit is 28 years as on 07 February 2017 is prescribed for the General category students. For OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PWD candidates’ relaxation is to be given as per government guidelines.
How to apply
Interested candidates can apply for the posts as mentioned above through GATE 2017 examination. Thereafter they need to fill an online application through HAL Official website, for which registration will be available during 06 January 17 to 7th February 17. There is no separate fee for application in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.

Interested candidates will be called for interview on the basis of GATE score card, in the ratio of 1:5 to the number of vacancies available for a post in a particular discipline. It means against 125 vacancies total 625 candidates will be shortlisted to attend the interview. The weightage for GATE score is 85% & for the Personal Interview is 15%. Final merit list for the appointment will be based on total marks obtained in GATE Exam & Personal Interview.
Pay scale, Salary in hand or CTC
Successful candidates have to undergo training for 52 weeks which will have classroom training, on the job training & plant visits. During the training period, they will be paid according to IDA Pay scale of 16400-40500/-. After successful training candidates will be appointed as Grade-II executives & their initial basic pay scale will be 16400 in IDA pay band of 16400-40500.

Service Agreement Bond
Selected candidates will have to execute a service agreement bond of Maximum Rs5,00,000/- to serve the Company (or any Government Department or Undertaking at the discretion of the Company) for a period of 5 years (excluding training period) after successful completion of training.
