Indian Railway has launched an official notice and notification through employment news regarding RPF and RPSF Sub Inspector recruitment 2018. All the Indian population, including male and females, with at least graduation academic qualification can apply for the vacancy in various Indian Railway and RPSF zones. The application will be available from 1/06/2018 to 30/06/2018. Interested candidates who are eligible can apply for these posts.

RPF SI Vacancy Position
The vacancy is available for Sub Inspector post in RPF and RPSF. The total number of post is 1120, out of which 301 seats are reserved for females, and 819 posts are for males.
The salary package is based on Level 6 of CPC 7 with the initial package of Rs 35.4K with other facilities and allowance.

The applicants interested in applying for these posts must have at least 20 years of age or maximum 25 years of age by 01/07/2018. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per the govt. rules (that’s upper age limit +5 years for SC/ST category). The reservation and the total number of vacancy or seat can be altered any moment depending upon the actual requirement during the hiring process.
It’s mandatory that all the applying candidates must have cleared his/her graduation academics/or have received bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a govt. certified board or university.

RPF SI Recruitment Procedure
All the eligible and interested candidates will have to go through 4 steps of hiring process after applying for the particular vacancy or post online through official website of Indian Railway. Have a look below to have an exposure to the selection process.
Step 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
An online computer based entrance test will be conducted to sort the total number of applicants and then allowing them to proceed to the next round of recruitment process. The selection in this computer exam based entrance test will be made only via the score of respective students in the test. All the applicants who will qualify this test will get elected to appear in next round of recruitment process.
Step 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The physical entrance test will again be a sorting process wherein officials will sort the applicants by physical appearance and strength. Only those students who will qualify this round will be eligible to appear in next round.
Step 3: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
In this step physical measurement, like height, weight, etc., will be done to sort the applicants again and forward the eligible students to the next recruitment round.
Step 4: Document Verification (DV)
This will be the final round wherein all the original documents of the respective applicant will get verified. These documents include mark sheets, graduation certificate, caste certificates ( for reserved categories), etc.
Note: The recruitment process is strictly step based thus candidates who will be qualifying the previous recruitment rounds will only get forwarded to the next recruitment procedure or step.
Mode Of Application

Application Fee and Payment Mode
The application charges or fees for general category is Rs 500 and for SC / ST / Ex-serviceman / Female / Minorities / Economically Backward Class Category for its Rs 200 only.
The application or exam fee can be paid online via credit card/debit card or net banking. Also, for those students willing to pay application fee offline can go to their nearest SBI bank branch and can pay via SBI Bank Challan.
