Age Limit

  • Minimum age limit: 21 Years as on 01 July 2018
  • Maximum Age as on 01 July 2018 is: 30 Years

For candidates having the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree, the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.

The relaxation in the upper age limit for the post of DR-General, DSIM, & DEPR to reserved category candidates as per the Govt of India rules.

For the direct recruitment General post the written examination is divided into two Phases, Phase-I & II. Those who clear the Phase-I will get a chance to take part in the Phase-II exam. The Phase will have Paper-I, II & III of 100 Marks each.


It will be an objective type online examination of 200 Marks on the following subjects;

  • General Awareness
  • Aptitude
  • Reasoning &
  • English


RBI Grade B Phase-II exam pattern Marks time duration

The Phase-II passed out candidates will get call letter for the Personal Interview. The final selection will be based on the performance of the Phase-II examination & Personal Interview.


It will have three Papers –I, II & III. The Paper-I is an objective type of online examination. The Paper-II & III are descriptive types. On the basis of merit list in the Paper-II & III, the candidates get call letter for next round that is the personal interview.
