The following table represents the monthly gross salary of both the post. Both the post have different nomenclature but have same pay scale and salary.

As Lower Division Clerk get posting in Secretriate or Rajasthan PSC, hence he/she may get better HRA, Allowances and job profile as compare to Jr Assistant.
The above salary is a monthly total salary including the Income Tax, Dearness Allowance and Provident Fund etc.
The Both post will get an annual increment of 3% from the date of appointment or any date decided by the competent authority. So every year basic pay will increase from minimum Rs 600/-.
The 7th CPC has already been implemented in the Rajasthan State Government Employees. The above salary is after the 7th Pay commision report implementation. The next pay revision will be applicable from 01.01.2026.
Lower division clerk Grade-II: Job Profile
Mainly lower division clerks perform simple tasks in their allotted department and superiors. The job profile and responsibilities of lower division clerk are simple but compelling. Some of the critical duties of LDC grade 2 are as follows:
- The primary responsibility of lower division clerk is to focus on daily office work and day to day operations.
- Second important responsibilities are to handle data work, files, documents and keep them managed in the right place.

LDC Post Based Responsibilities
