As per official advertisement, Uttarakhand Forest Guard recruited on Level-3 Grade of UK service department with initial basic pay of 21700. The total salary of a newly recruited candidate is 30,500 per month.
This pay is including the Provident fund amount, Income tax etc. The net pay in the salary account may around 25,000 after the deductions from the date of appointment.
The Guard who take the Government Quarter for accommodation, the won’t get House Rent allowances. If they live in their own house or on rent, they will be eligible for the HRA. The rate of House Rent allowances will be as per Government rules.

Being a forest guard, you will be taking control of expenditures, sales and supplies and other general management works.

How To Become A Forest Guard: Academic and Physical Eligibility
Not everyone is eligible to apply for this post. The vacancy is only for those candidates who can handle the responsibilities and hold some required academic certificates. - Candidates must have cleared their 12th from a recognized board in any stream.

Physical Fitness Terms
All the candidates applying for the post must have at least 163 cm height and 5 cm chest. For females, the height should be at least 150 cm.
All the male candidates applying will have to run 25 km with 10Kg load at the back within 4 hours. Females will have to run 14km with 5 kg load on the back within four hours.
Shot put, long jump and high jump for males are respectively 5 m, 1.10m, and 4m. For females, its 3.50 m, 0.70m, and 2m.
So the candidates who wish to work in this department will have to fulfill all the eligibility terms as mentioned above. The eligibility terms are strict to be followed and there is no relaxation for anyone except the reserved category. Reservation is available as per the GOI and department norms.
