SSC CGLE 2017 for the Recruitment of Graduates

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization through which Government of India recruits Staff/Officers by conducting All India Examinations for various job vacancies in the numerous departments and Ministries of the Government of India and in Subordinate offices. One of the most important exams that fall under this recruitment examinations is Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) conducted annually by SSC through which the hiring of GROUP-B are done. Staff Selection Commission has its Headquarters located in New Delhi.

Unlike every year the SSC CGL examination will be conducted this year as well. SSC has already announced the tentative dates and schedule of SSC CGL the information for which is mentioned in this article.


4000 posts in various departments like Central Vigilance Commission, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railway, Ministry of External Affairs, Controller General of Accountant, Central Secretariat Service and much more will be filled through SSC CGL 2017. Candidates must secure high marks in each stage of the examination mentioned above to obtain a high position in the merit list. The result of SSC CGL 2017 will be finalized after adding candidate score in Tier I, Tier II and Tier III stage.


The minimum age of candidate to apply for SSC CGL 2017 is 18 years. The candidates with a graduation degree in any stream are eligible to apply.


SSC CGL 2017 examination will be conducted in four stages which are as follows:

Tier-I: This is a computer based test which will be held from 19 June to 2 July at various centers across the country.

Tier-II: The selected candidates who qualify Tier-I are allowed to appear at this stage of examination. This will be conducted online from September 5-8, 2017.
