Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is in search for the eligible candidates for the post of Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) and for Assistant Conservator of Forest & Range Forest Officer. Currently, there are 16 vacancies for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest and 76 vacancies for Range Forest Officer. Education Qualification

The Minimum education qualification for the UPPSC Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services (PCS), Assistant Conservator of Forest & Range Forest Officer is Graduation only. But for the some specific posts the qualification will be as follows.

Selection Procedure

The selection process would consist of an online written test followed by an interview.

Written Test- the paper would be of 200 marks and of two hours duration. There would be in total 100-150 objective type or multiple choice questions. The timing of Paper 1 for Combined State/Upper Subordinate services would be 9.30a.m-11.30am and for Paper 2 would be 2.30-4.30 p.m.

The Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Service exam will test the candidate’s ability in general studies, general Hindi, mathematics, statistics, and optional subjects depending upon the post applied.

The students applying for the post of Assistant Conservator or for Range Forest Officer need to prepare themselves for topics pertaining to the history of India, Indian politics, geography, logical reasoning, general mathematics, comprehension, General English, General Hindi, Decision making and problem- solving, and interpersonal skills like communication ability.
